Also, I can't resize the window to anything other than 18x108. Switching to full screen mode in Firefox makes its menus and toolbars disappear, but the window decorations remain and the window remains the same size. Needless to say, I'm using a completely different browser to post this message. The maximize-window command does nothing either. I've started up with -safe-mode, and I've created a fresh profile, and it still has the tiny window startup size. Attempting to grab a corner with the mouse only makes it smaller. My windowmanager keyboard shortcut to maximize the window does nothing.

Now, when I start firefox, it starts as a very tiny window (about 18x145 pixels), and nothing I try can resize it larger (it will go smaller though!)į11 does not change the size. Just did a kernel upgrade from 3.2.0-32, and I think my nvidia driver was upgraded along with a bunch of other stuff as I hadn't upgraded software in a few weeks. I'm on Ubuntu 12.04, kernel 3.2.0-33-generic, using the sawfish window manager (roll my own desktop).
